TIPS - Rods

Todays new age graphite fly rods will probably be the single most expensive piece of your arsenal, so follow these steps to keep your rod in one piece:

	Travel with the rods in a protective bag and tube at all times to stop the car door from ending your day.
	Walk with your rod pointed behind you, so when you fall, it's on your face not the rod.
	For a like-new finish use "Armor All" on the rod, not on the cork though or your rod will become a torpedo.
	Keep the ferrules waxed for a snug fit.
	Put the two sections together on a 90° angle, then twist until the guides are in alignment.
